About Refined Palm Oil

Refined palm oil is crude palm oil taken through degumming, neutralisation, bleaching and deodorisation to remove free fatty acids, gums, trace metals, colour bodies and odour compounds. What remains is a pale golden, flavour-neutral oil with excellent oxidative stability, and it is the workhorse of commercial food manufacturing worldwide.

iFlowdeck supplies RBD palm oil produced to international food-grade standards from our own sourced crude feedstock. Because we control the CPO going into the refinery, we can hold the incoming quality tight, which shows up downstream as consistent colour, a stable peroxide value and a predictable shelf life. Our refining partners operate under HACCP and ISO food safety systems and every production run is analysed before release.

Palm oil's semi-solid structure at room temperature and its resistance to oxidation at frying temperatures make RBD the preferred fat for instant noodles, snacks, biscuits, margarine and bakery shortening, as well as for soap noodles and personal care bases. It is naturally trans-fat free, which matters increasingly for FMCG brands reformulating away from partially hydrogenated fats.

We ship RBD palm oil in bulk flexitanks and ISO tanks for refiners and manufacturers, and in 25-litre jerricans, 20-litre kegs or bottled retail packs for distributors and supermarket chains. Private label packaging under your own brand is available through our packaging service, including artwork, filling, sealing and compliance labelling for your destination market.

Questions

Refined Palm Oil: frequently asked

What is the difference between refined palm oil and crude palm oil?
Crude palm oil is unprocessed: deep red, carotene-rich, with up to 5% free fatty acid and a distinct aroma. Refined palm oil has been bleached and deodorised down to 0.1% FFA, leaving a pale, neutral oil suited to food manufacturing where colour and flavour must not carry through.
What is the shelf life of your RBD palm oil?
Twelve to eighteen months from production when stored sealed, below 25 °C and away from direct sunlight. Each consignment ships with its production date and batch analysis so you can plan stock rotation.
Can you supply refined palm oil under our own brand?
Yes. Our private label packaging service covers bottle and jerrican formats, artwork, filling, sealing and destination-compliant labelling, so you receive retail-ready stock rather than bulk oil you have to repack.
